Bella passeggiata!

Avendo soggiornato all'Una hotel Vittoria, in zona San Frediano, abbiamo approfittato di una splendida giornata di Sole per fare una passeggiata in questo quartiere con Asia e Giosuè.


Having stayed at UNA Hotel Vittoria, near San Frediano, we took advantage of a beautiful sunny day for a walk in this neighborhood with Asia and Giosuè.

Usciti dall'hotel siamo andati verso destra lungo la via Pisana.
Primo incontro tipico è stato il venditore ambulante di panino con il lampredotto, di cui non abbiamo ancora potuto gustare la qualità del panino, non era ora di pranzo, così ci siamo soffermati solo per una foto.


Leaving the hotel we went to the right along  via Pisana.
First meeting was the typical hawker of sandwich with lampredotto, we have not yet been able to enjoy the quality of the sandwich, it was not lunchtime, so we paused only for a photo.

Questa zona un tempo brulicava di botteghe di artigiani e ancora oggi qualcuna l'abbiamo incontrata anche noi.


This area once teemed with artisans workshops and even today some are present, too.

L'altra bottega che abbiamo incontrato è di un fabbricatore di violini.


The other shop that we have encountered is a maker of violins.

Un parco giochi catturerà l'interesse dei vostri bambini e se amano giocare a palla e come mio nipote Giuseppe non viaggiano senza, allora qui troveranno anche un campo per giocare a calcio o basket.


A playground will capture the interest of your children and if they love to play ball and do not travel without it, how my nephew Giuseppe, then here will also find a field to play soccer or basketball.

Tutto intorno è pieno di ristoranti e trattorie, noi abbiamo provato il Via Vai e il Vico del Carmine.
Uno in particolare mi ha colpito per i prezzi bassi, Trattoria Sabatino, molto semplice con piatti della cucina fiorentina (non provato).


All around is full of restaurants, we tried Via Vai and Vico del Carmine. One in particular I was struck by the low prices, Trattoria Sabatino, very simple with Florentine cuisine (not tested).

Su piazza del Carmine al numero 2, affaccia un loft ristrutturato, "E' il loft a Firenze" aperto a chiunque lo prenoti per una serata speciale con gli amici, in 2 o per festeggiare un evento.
